The things that I learn from the podcasts and from the things that you guys do have definitely been an inspiration to me.
I worked with Mike to apply the PureReinvention process to identify and resolve issues with our board and other leaders to move things forward.
What I learned is that if I set my mind to it, I can do anything!
I learned that you should never be afraid to make a change if your heart is in it and I also learned to give back and be a resource to others and its important to surround yourself with successful people so you can learn from them.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was great to get away and reinvent myself to move forward.
There was so much I’m taking away from today. I think a really big piece of that is you don’t have to do it yourself. In fact, the people who are really succeeding and pushing ahead are not doing it themselves. They are relying on the expertise and knowledge of people around them, relying on other peoples’ points of view to keep them open to possibilities.
One of the reasons that I follow PureReinvention is because it has forced me to start thinking differently about that association world.
It’s important to have a number of different groups be a part of the reinvention process. It’s the blending and the melding of those knowledge bases in the reinvention process that helps the city or any organization move forward at a much more rapid pace.
